SOUTH SHIELDS MBF MAY MEETING
10th May 2008

A very well attended show with some lovely new items on display. For me the stars were the Neil Mortson Marsden resins particularly the Bristol J types but there were other delights to look forward to like the Bristol KS and the Burlingham bus body and the Ribble PD flat tin fronted Burlingham from Tiny. MiM had a strange prototype on show, a sort of East Lancs/Greenaway Blue Bus rebuild machine. Nothing from Little Bus Company there. Another surprise from Stephen at MiM was his stock of Oxford BR yellow crew buses - no-one else had them. Well done S. And on Dave Herron's stall I acquired the CMNL minibus. A little beauty. Good to meet many friends and have a natter, enjoyable day. Thanks to all who allowed me to photograph their wares.
